Ffynnonau is a 30 acre farm whose old stone barns have been converted to provide
accommodation of a very high standard. It offers accommodation which is both attractive
to the eye and very comfortable, a combination which has earned it a five star
Welsh Tourist Board rating.
The properties, Taf, Towy and Gwendraeth, are named
after the three river valleys in the area. Each is a two storey stone barn conversion,
full of character, with oak floors, exposed beams and stonework. The living area of each
is on the first floor, giving superb views across the valley and estuary; sleeping
accommodation is on the ground floor. They are very well furnished, offer TV/video and
stereo/radio/CD, and have both oil central heating and a wood burning stove.
The kitchens are fully fitted, including dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, washing
machine, fridge and freezer.
Each cottage has its own external seating area with barbeque
in the landscaped gardens. For children and adults alike there is a play barn with facilities
such as badminton, skittles, basketball and toys, a particularly welcome resource for families
if the weather is wet.
