The Pembrokeshire border is nearby, and within easy driving distance are many of its attractions.
About half an hour away is the attractive fishing and holiday town of Tenby, with its wonderful
beaches and access to a variety of water sports. Here you can hire a boat for fishing, or cross
to the island of Caldey with its Italianate monastery, its seals and its varied sea birds.
A little further on are the beautiful Manorbier estate and Bosherston whose lily ponds and fabulous
beaches are renowned. And all along the coast is the exceptional coastal path, wonderful for walking,
coastal views and wildlife.
Colby Woodland Garden and the glorious National Botanic Garden of Wales are both worth a visit if
you have any interest in plants and gardening, while, at the other end of the spectrum, Oakwood is
a theme park which provides plenty of thrills for those addicted to speed and gravity-defying rides;
it has Europe's "fastest and wettest water coaster".
